Our website of the month is one that you NEED to know about. It’s called ‘Earthclinic.com’ and is a complete listing of folk medicine cures, home remedies and supplement information. Each ‘cure’ is supported by (in some cases,) hundreds of testimonials or comments by people who have tried them. Whether its Sesame Seed Oil for an abscessed tooth, or an essential oil to get rid of fleas, this site has thousands of recommendations. The site is laid out so that you can search by ailment, or by supplement, and there is even a section devoted to pets. By far the best thing about the website though is the sheer volume of comments and anecdotal evidence for – or against many treatments. Whenever I hear about a new holistic solution to an illness or condition, I check EarthClinic first to see who has tried it and what their experience was like. Of course we are not recommending that you try any of these ‘cures’ yourself without first consulting a health care professional. But we ARE highly recommending that you take some time to see this website as it can be a FANTASTIC resource for all kinds of practitioners and individuals who care about managing their health in a more holistic way. Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds is one of the best introductory documentaries I have ever seen. It discusses a ‘Golden Key that unifies all the mysteries of the universe’. In just over an hour and a half, the film covers everything from fractals, to sacred geometry to spiritual imagery, meditation and awakening and so much more. It introduces a number of scientific and spiritual visionaries as well as theoretical concepts that we should all be familiar with. Its simple to understand and makes smooth connections between different topics. The images are stunningly beautiful and the music is very peaceful. If I were to design a degree program for the holistic and spiritual sciences – this video would be required viewing! If you are like me, you don’t have as much time for reading as you would like. I’ve found a great alternative in YouTube videos. There are hundreds of great documentaries and lectures on there and they are all FREE. They have allowed me to do hours and hours of research and study while cleaning my kitchen, picking up kids toys or working out. If you don’t have the time to relax in bed with this video series, look it up on your iphone or computer and listen while you work! It is definitely worth the time!
