Organically raised beef – right here in Durham!  If you are looking for healthier beef from high-end steaks to the best sausage of your life, check out Gallery on The Farm.  Owned by the Bowen family for more than 3 generations, the farm offers meat and locally grown vegetables. The Galloway and Scottish Highland cow is a very old breed originating in Scotland. Unlike cattle selected to grow fast on grain, these animals were bred to thrive as grazers on natural pastures. They are renowned for their thick hairy coats that enables them to stay warm and dry even in cold and wet weather. This gives the beef a distinctive eating quality – lean, yet exceptionally juicy, flavorful, and tender. For more information about the farm please visit their website, or give them a call!
